a boy and his computer - navy clip art

This stuff came about because I needed various U.S. Navy insignia and pins for the Official Seal Generator. I couldn't find good quality scans or vector versions anywhere on the web, except as part of clipart collections costing hundreds of bucks. So I said to myself, eff that, and I got a copy of the Bluejacket's Manual and traced them all out myself. It's all public domain, so no copyright issues obtain, and I'm releasing these vector files into the public domain as well. I hope you get some use out of them.

All files are vector files, so they're scalable. They're all in compressed Scalable Vector Graphics (SVGZ) format. Adobe Illustrator and Inkscape can open them just fine, so you shouldn't have any trouble using them.

You can download the entire collection in one archive (347KB zip file), or as individual files below.

Carrier lettering

This is just the lettering found on the sides of Navy ships.

I've also converted these letters into Truetype and OpenType fonts, which should make them easier to use.
